Enquiries & Feedback:

When you make an enquiry or feedback using the forms on this website then we store this information for a while so that we can effectively deal with he enquiry or feedback request.   When we have dealt with the enquiry or feedback we will then delete the personal details e.g. name, email address, telephone no etc.

My Right to Be Forgotten

If you choose you have the right to have personal information about you deleted from our systems  You can do this by emailing us at info@tricamcaravans.com and we will delete your personal details from our systems.

Security

Data Encryption

The website and the data is stored in a secure data centre and while all reasonable efforts have been made to maintain a high level of security a determined hacker can work through even the most sophisticated security systems.  We take your data protection very serious and therefore the data stored on our website is encrypted making this close to impossible to use in the event of a data breach.

SSL (Secure Socket Layer)

This website has an SSL Certificate installed which encrypts the data being sent to and from the web server (where the website is stored) and the browser (which you use to view the web pages).  When you fill in a form on this website the data is encrypted so that it cannot be read making using this website more secure.

PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR TRICAM CARAVANS                                             

Contact information (name, address, telephone numbers, email address), items purchased

  • We retain this information in the form of copy invoices, finance agreements, warranty documents.  It is stored securely, in the company office or in the director’s home office.
  • We share it with third parties only as follows:
  • with NCC CRiS for the purpose of adding new keepers to the register;
  • with Autoguard Warranties Ltd when creating an extended warranty for a customer or when processing a claim on the customer’s behalf;
  • with a finance provider (currently Close Brothers Motor Finance Ltd, and Motor Finance NI) when applying for finance for a customer, and only with the customer’s consent.
  • Online enquiries will be deleted within 2 months of follow-up.

Bank account number, sort code, credit or debit card details

  • Credit or debit card details, if written, will be shredded or burnt as soon as they have been used.  If obtained electronically (by email or text message) the record will be permanently deleted as soon as they have been used.
  • Bank details obtained electronically for the purpose of Fearon Brothers Ltd T/A Tricam Caravans purchasing a caravan are deleted as soon as they have been used.  Such payees are also deleted from the online banking account within a month of being used.  Hard copy records of stock purchases are retained for internal accounting purposes only.
  • Bank details will only be passed to finance providers as above.

Details of employment, income/expenditure

  • These details are obtained and used solely in connection with a finance application as above and will never be shared with any other party.

Marketing or other communication from Tricam Caravans

  • We may contact you by email to remind you that your extended warranty is due to expire, that servicing is due, or to draw your attention to an offer which may be of interest or benefit to you (eg discounted service fee). 
  • You will not be contacted by telephone for any such purpose unless you have given specific consent.
  • Your details will never be shared with any third party for any marketing purposes.

Who are we? Fearon Brothers Ltd t/a Tricam Caravans, a dealership acting as a credit broker in arranging finance for vehicle transactions. Our registered Office is 21B Rowantree Rd, Dromore, BT25 1NN. Registered in NI. Company registration no. NI658630.

Are we authorised to arrange finance for you? Yes, we are authorised and regulated for credit-broking activities by the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”). We are not a lender. Please note that business customers may not be protected under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 or FCA rules.

What can we do to help finance your vehicle?  We can introduce you (whether direct or through a specialist credit broker) to a number of finance companies (“funders”) who may be able to finance your transaction. There are other funders to which we cannot introduce you which may also be able to offer you finance. We will provide you with information and explanations about the finance products that may be available to you and, where we recommend a product to you, we will ensure that this is based on the information you give us about your needs and circumstances so that it is suitable for you. Finance is arranged subject to status and terms and conditions. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to secure finance for you.

Can we give independent financial advice?  We are not independent financial advisers and so are unable to provide you with independent financial advice

Do you have to pay for our service or do we receive any commission?  You don’t have to pay us for our service But a funder or broker we work with may pay us for introducing you to them. Different funders/brokers may pay us different amounts but it will typically be based on a fixed percentage of the amount borrowed. This percentage may vary according to different factors, for example: the amount of credit; the age or type of vehicle; the type of finance product; or the funder’s assessment of the risk of lending. For your reassurance, we are not able to change the interest rate you pay in order to receive more commission from a particular broker or funder.  Although rates and commissions may vary between our finance partners, our aim is always to secure finance from them which is appropriate to your circumstances. If we are successful in obtaining an offer of finance for you and you would like to know the amount (or likely amount) we would receive if you decided to go ahead with the agreement and how that amount has been calculated, please contact us using the details above.

How will we use your information? We will use your information to obtain quotes from funders and brokers to process finance applications through them and we and/or they may also conduct a search of your record held with one or more credit reference agencies. Credit checks may as a result appear on your credit file lodged by organisations with whom you have not dealt directly. The personal information collected will also be shared with fraud prevention agencies who will use it to prevent fraud and money laundering and to verify your identity. If fraud is detected you could be refused certain services, finance or employment. Further details of how your information will be used by us, funders and these fraud prevention agencies, and your data rights can be found on our website. A full data protection notice/privacy policy will be provided to you before we submit any application for finance on your behalf. We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZA542098.
